The Banco Central do Brasil popularly known as BCB is an autonomous federal institution founded in the year 1964.With years of reputation it also has also carried out the functions of the government banks. It has been controlling foreign trade operation and executing foreign exchange operation on behalf of the public sector enterprises and the national treasury. It is a bank of Public type and was founded by Rio de Janeiro. The current CEO is Antonio Francisco de Lima Neto. Its revenue as of 2007 is up by $42.4 billion USD and its net income is up by $2.85 USD as of 2006.It employs around 82700.
